Thames Valley Police have released a CCTV image of a person they want to identify following an assault in Oxford city centre on 22 March 2026. The incident occurred at approximately 12:30am at the junction of Queen Street and St Ebbes Street, near the Westgate Oxford shopping centre.
A man in his late teens was punched multiple times during the encounter before the offender fled the scene. Despite the nature of the attack, the victim did not require hospital treatment.
The individual sought by police is described as having dark hair and facial hair. At the time of the incident, they were wearing a black hoodie, grey jeans, and sunglasses on their head.
