The Nene Park Trust is hosting an Easter Adventure Trail at Ferry Meadows in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, from March 28 to April 12, 2026. This two-week event gives local families a low-cost outdoor activity where children can explore the park to find hidden clues.

To take part, visitors can buy an activity pack from the Visitor Centre which includes a map of the trail. Once they follow the route and solve the nature-themed puzzles, participants can head to the Nene Outdoors centre to collect a small Easter prize.

The trail is running alongside several other holiday events, such as an inflatable park called The Big Jump and archery taster sessions. Despite some local flooding reported on the northern edge of the park in February, the Nene Park Trust has confirmed that most paths remain open for those wearing waterproof boots.

On Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, the Salvation Army will also lead a sunrise service for the community at the Visitor Centre. Revenue from these seasonal events helps the charity manage and protect the 2,500-acre estate following recent budget challenges and staff changes.
