The Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, will host a series of family activities this spring to celebrate the school holidays. The Easter Fun at Unity events are set to run from 28 March to 12 April 2026, offering local parents and guardians a low-cost way to keep children entertained in the city centre.

These hands-on activities will take place every day between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm at the UNITY space. This area serves as a community hub and retail shop located within the Queensgate Shopping Centre.

The project is managed by Up The Garden Bath, a community interest company that supports small businesses in the region. The UNITY space currently provides a platform for more than 50 local independent businesses and craft makers from the surrounding Peterborough area to sell their goods in a high-street setting.

Organisers designed the daily sessions to be an accessible option for families during the ongoing rise in living costs. The initiative also aims to bring more people into the city centre to support the independent traders and artists who work within the community hub.
