Peterborough Beer Festival has set out its public opening hours for this year’s event, with the five-day festival due to run from Tuesday 25 August to Saturday 29 August at the River Embankment in Peterborough city centre.
According to the festival’s website, the first session will open at 5.30pm on Tuesday 25 August and run until 11pm. From Wednesday 26 August through to Saturday 29 August, doors will open at noon and close at 11pm each day.
The event is organised by Peterborough & District CAMRA and will feature a World Beer Bar, a Key Keg Bar and a Cider Bar. This year’s festival also introduces a US Cask Bar, which CAMRA says will offer up to 70 different American cask beers.
The festival’s volunteer page says around 350 unpaid volunteers help run the event, with set-up starting on 17 August and take-down finishing on 2 September. CAMRA also says advance tickets are expected to go on sale around mid-May, with a link posted on the festival website when sales open.
The festival site is in large marquees on the River Embankment, a short walk from Peterborough railway station and the bus and coach stations.
