Peterborough Cathedral has announced a full lineup of music and theatre events running throughout June and July 2026. The series features a variety of performances, including classical orchestral concerts, tribute acts, and a theatre production for families.

The concert series begins on 6 June 2026, when the City of Peterborough Symphony Orchestra performs Organissimo! at 7pm, featuring classics by Beethoven and Bruch. This will be followed by a performance of The Music of James Bond on 10 June, and the return of the Gin and Rum Festival on 20 June. On 26 June, The Bach Choir will join the Peterborough Cathedral Choir for a programme of English choral works.

The summer schedule continues into July with a George Michael tribute concert on 1 July, followed by An Evening of Radiohead on 3 July and 4 July. Additionally, the Quantum Theatre will present two performances of Treasure Island on 14 July at 3:30pm and 6:30pm.

Many of these events are organised as fundraisers to support the cathedral’s charitable work. Proceeds from ticket sales contribute to the preservation of the historic building, which dates back to 654 AD, as well as the continuation of worship, music programmes, and community education efforts.
