Police Appeal For Footage After Poole Motorcyclist Injured In Hit-And-Run

Dorset Police are searching for witnesses and camera footage after a hit-and-run crash in Poole, Dorset, left a man with serious injuries. The incident occurred at 5:17 pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, on the A3049 Canford Way.

The crash involved a car and a red Honda motorbike, but the driver of the car failed to stop and left the scene without giving any details. The motorcyclist, a local man in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries following the collision.

Police Sergeant Chris Brolan is leading the investigation for Dorset Police and has asked motorists in the area to check their recording devices. Residents living near the dual carriageway are also encouraged to check their doorbell cameras for any footage of the vehicles involved.
