BH Live and Portsmouth City Council are launching the city’s largest-ever February half-term programme of junior activities for 2026 in Portsmouth, Hampshire. The expanded schedule is designed to give more children access to sports and fitness sessions during the February break.
The programme will run from Monday, 16 February to Friday, 20 February 2026 at several locations including Mountbatten Leisure Centre and the Pyramids Centre. Families can book Wet & Wacky inflatable pool sessions and intensive five-day swimming lessons that aim to help children gain confidence in the water.
Other activities available for booking include Clip ‘N Climb (at Mountbatten), gymnastics workshops, and multi-sports camps at Charter Community Sports Centre and Wimbledon Park Sports Centre. Organisers have doubled the number of slots for the most popular sessions to meet high demand from local parents.
This year’s increase in sessions is supported by a 2025/26 council budget uplift for Youth Wellbeing and aims to provide affordable ways for children to stay active. Residents who hold a Portsmouth Leisure Card can access discounted rates at BH Live-operated centres to help manage the cost of family outings.
