The Victorious Festival has donated a record £173,484 to local charities and community projects in Portsmouth, Hampshire, following its 2025 event. The figure was announced on 4 February 2026 and brings the total amount raised for the city to £926,000 since the festival moved to Southsea Common in 2014.
The money raised supports several local organisations, including Tonic Music for Mental Health and Portsmouth Pride; The Literacy Hubs and other groups have been supported in previous years. In addition to cash donations, a food-surplus initiative at the festival provided nearly 500 meals to around 200 local families.
Festival director James Ralls said the team is deeply connected to the city and works hard to make a difference throughout the year. Organisers and Visit Portsmouth announced the 2025 figure on 4 February 2026, saying it was the highest yet for charitable giving — surpassing the 2023 total of £155,347.
The festival also helped the local economy by generating an estimated £159 million during the August bank holiday weekend. Gemma Nichols, CEO of Portsmouth Creates, said the partnership between the organisers and the city helps strengthen Portsmouth’s reputation as a hub for art and culture.
