Residents in Portsmouth, Hampshire, are being asked to share their views on proposed changes to two major city centre roads. Portsmouth City Council announced on 18 March 2026 that it is holding a public event to discuss developments for Bishop Crispian Way and Queen Street.

The session, called the Walk Wheel Cycle Community Drop In, will allow people to talk directly with the Victoria Park Project Team about the plans. These roads are vital routes for the city, with Bishop Crispian Way running right past Victoria Park and serving as a main path for people travelling through the area.

The council is looking for feedback to help manage traffic and improve access near key local sites like the Portsmouth & Southsea train station and the HMS Nelson gate. This effort follows previous work by the Walk Wheel Cycle partnership to make the streets around the historic park easier to use for everyone.

Information about the drop-in session was first shared on the official Victoria Park website. The feedback gathered during this community meeting will help shape how these busy roads are managed in the future.
