Three Men Charged With Attempted Murder Following Cosham Stabbing

Three men have been charged with attempted murder after a 31-year-old man was stabbed in the leg on Hawthorn Crescent in Cosham, Portsmouth, Hampshire. The attack happened in broad daylight shortly before 14:30 GMT on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary arrested six men in total following the violence. Police investigations found that the stabbing was the result of a dispute between two groups of Afghan men.

The victim was originally in a life-threatening condition but is now reported to be in a serious but stable state. He remains in hospital while he recovers from the injury to his leg.
