Families are invited to join the free Victorious Festival Easter Egg Hunt in Victoria Park this Easter Saturday.

The hunt kicks off at 10am on Saturday, 4 April 2026, with entry via Guildhall Square. Organisers will hide 100 prize-filled eggs throughout Victoria Park, each branded with the Victorious Festival and Portsmouth 100 logos to mark the city’s centenary year.

There’s no need to register in advance—spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Prizes include festival tickets, chocolate treats, and a golden egg containing an exclusive experience like VIP viewing tower access for the August bank holiday event.

The top prize, the Golden Egg, is worth over £1,180 and includes weekend tickets for a family of four, garden upgrades, and a chance to watch an act per day from the VIP viewing tower at the main Victorious Festival. Other prizes include ticket bundles, day passes, and chocolate eggs. The event is free to attend, with 100 prizes up for grabs across six tiers.

The Easter Egg Hunt is part of Portsmouth’s year-long centenary celebrations under the Portsmouth100 programme. The main Victorious Festival will take place from 28 to 30 August 2026 at Southsea Seafront, featuring performances from Richard Ashcroft, The Black Keys, and Kasabian.

This year’s event is a change from 2025, when eggs were hidden daily over six days. The single-day format on Easter Saturday aims to bring the community together for a fun start to the festivities.

Victoria Park, Portsmouth’s first public park opened in 1878, is centrally located near Guildhall Square and Portsmouth & Southsea railway station. The park is currently undergoing a four-year heritage and community improvement project.
