Four people have been jailed for a combined 23 and a half years for running a drug network in Reading. The sentences were handed down at Reading Crown Court after a joint investigation by Thames Valley Police and the Metropolitan Police dismantled the county lines operation.
The network was selling heroin and cocaine across the town through a criminal scheme that targeted the local community. Detective Constable Robert Mogridge of the Thames Valley Police Drugs Focus Taskforce said the force remains committed to bringing offenders before the courts and will continue to investigate those involved in such drug dealing.
The investigation was part of ongoing efforts by the Drugs Focus Taskforce to disrupt county lines operations in Berkshire, working alongside other forces to disrupt drug networks that target local communities.
