Fire crews from three stations tackled a blaze involving a gazebo, an outbuilding, a garage and two properties on Reading Road in Woodley on Tuesday afternoon, according to Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service.

A crew from Wokingham Road returned the following day for a reinspection and found no remaining hotspots, confirming the fire was fully out. The Thames Valley Fire Control Service based in Calcot handled the original 999 call and coordinated the response. The service has operated from the service’s headquarters since 2015, answering emergency calls across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
