A 24-year-old man from Slough has been sentenced to six years and six months in prison following a Thames Valley Police investigation into drug and firearm offences. Ayman Khan, of Wexham Road, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on 9 April 2026 after pleading guilty to five charges.
Khan was arrested on 23 September 2025 after police were called to a secure compound in Reading. Officers observed him leaving the site with a bag he had not arrived with. When stopped nearby, Khan was found in possession of heroin, cocaine, and cannabis with an estimated street value of more than £60,000. Officers also discovered he was carrying a taser and prohibited ammunition.
Khan pleaded guilty to three counts of possession with intent to supply drugs, as well as possessing a prohibited electrical incapacitation device and prohibited ammunition.
Investigating officer PC Gavin Ward stated that the sentence reflects the seriousness of Khan’s involvement in the drug trade and the significant harm his actions caused within the community. The police force maintains that drug dealing fuels further criminality and has a negative impact on neighbourhoods. Residents are encouraged to report any concerns regarding illegal drugs or weapons to the police to help maintain local safety.
