Train times through Rickmansworth station will change on Friday 10 July and Saturday 11 July as Chiltern Railways runs an amended timetable for the My Chemical Romance concerts at Wembley Stadium. The operator, whose services link the town to London Marylebone and Aylesbury, is warning passengers that normal departure times will not apply on either day. Additional trains will call at Wembley Stadium during the afternoons and evenings, the Chiltern Railways station page for Rickmansworth confirms.

On Friday, three evening peak services from Marylebone are cancelled: the 17.41 and 18.11 to Aylesbury via Amersham, and the 17.53 to West Ruislip. Saturday sees a similar pattern, with the 16.27, 17.27, and 18.27 departures from Marylebone to Aylesbury removed from the timetable. After 8pm on Saturday, rail replacement buses take over between Amersham and Aylesbury Vale Parkway, connecting with Metropolitan line trains to and from Baker Street.

The changes are driven by My Chemical Romance bringing their Long Live The Black Parade Tour to Wembley Stadium for two nights. The 90,000-capacity venue routinely triggers amended timetables from Chiltern Railways, whose main route passes the stadium. Queuing systems and travel arrangements vary by event, and the operator is directing everyone using Rickmansworth station to check their specific train times in advance.
