Train times between Leamington Spa and London will shift this Friday and Saturday as Chiltern Railways runs an enhanced timetable for the My Chemical Romance concerts at Wembley Stadium. The operator has confirmed service alterations across the route, adding extra stops at the venue and laying on additional trains in the afternoon and evening of both 10 and 11 July.

The Friday evening peak will see the 17.21 Birmingham Moor Street to Leamington Spa service cancelled entirely because of the event, while the 17.11 Birmingham Snow Hill to London Marylebone train will call additionally at Lapworth and Hatton. On Saturday, late-night engineering works and routine maintenance near Oxford will close the railway between Oxford Parkway and Oxford after 22.55, with rail replacement buses taking over.

Wembley Stadium station will operate a queuing system after each concert, directing returning passengers into separate lines for different destination routes. The venue seats 90,000 people, and Chiltern Railways regularly lays on longer trains and extra services when it hosts major events. Similar amended timetables ran for concerts in May and June this year.

Passengers whose journeys touch Leamington Spa or any Chiltern stop between the town and Marylebone should check their departure times before setting out, as normal schedules may have changed on both days. Full details are available on the Chiltern Railways website.
