Leamington FC secured a 4-2 home victory against Peterborough Sports at the Your Co-op Community Stadium on Saturday 28 March 2026. The win provided a morale boost for the club, marking the first success under new manager Scott Easterlow.

The match was played in front of 522 spectators. Although Leamington, known as The Brakes, had their relegation from the National League North confirmed earlier in the week following a 5-2 defeat to King’s Lynn Town, they remained competitive throughout the fixture. The club, founded in 1933, is now looking toward a new chapter under Easterlow, a local man appointed in March 2026 to succeed long-serving manager Paul Holleran.

Peterborough Sports, nicknamed The Turbines and managed by Michael Gash, took an early lead through Mark Jones after seven minutes. Despite a late effort from substitute Max Booth, the visitors were unable to prevent the home side from taking the points. Frank Tattum secured the win for Leamington with a goal in the 99th minute, while defender Theo Streete also contributed to the scoreline. The result leaves Peterborough Sports seven points from safety with five games remaining.

Leamington will continue their campaign with a home match against Coleshill Town on 31 March. This will be followed by away and home fixtures against Bedford Town on 3 April and Alfreton Town on 6 April 2026.
