Leamington Rugby Football Club has postponed its ‘It’s a Knock Out’ family fun day until Sunday 13 September after too few teams signed up for this Saturday’s original date. The club announced the decision in its weekly newsletter, explaining that insufficient entries made the 11 July event unviable.

The rescheduled event is the same fun day the club has run before, though no new start time has been confirmed. Team entries remain open, with John Brear on 0775 411373 and Lucy Ramsbottom on 07904 105584 handling registrations.

The clubhouse will still open on Saturday at 2pm for supporters wanting to watch England’s Nations Championship match against Fiji at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool, which kicks off at 14:10. England beat Fiji 38–18 when the sides last met at Allianz Stadium in November 2025.

Newsletter author John Lyons, who can be reached on 01926 855787 or by email, also reminded members that the club’s annual general meeting takes place on Wednesday 29 July at 8pm.
