The Leamington Spa Half Marathon will return to Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, on Sunday, 7 June 2026, with the race starting and finishing at the Royal Pump Room Gardens. The event typically attracts around 2,000 runners for the 13.1-mile course.
Organised by Raceways Events CIC, the community-interest company reinvests proceeds into local community and sporting projects. The 2026 race is partnering with Safeline, a Warwickshire charity that provides specialist support to people affected by sexual abuse.
Runners will follow a traffic-free route through the town centre and out into the Warwickshire countryside, including the villages of Offchurch and Radford Semele. Families can take part in a FREE Kids’ Fun Run — officially listed as a 1 km event (often branded as the ‘Kids Mile’) — held at the event site.
Warwick District Council says nearly 100 road junctions will be affected by closures beginning around 06:00, with some closures lasting until about 14:00; many junctions will be reopened earlier under a rolling-closure system as the course clears to reduce disruption to residents and businesses.
Thomas Flavell & Sons Solicitors is the headline sponsor for the event. The race, revived in its current format in 2018, has grown into a major annual fixture for the town and was voted the 2nd best half marathon in the UK at the 2019 Running Awards for its scenic route and organisation.
