A full calendar of community events for 2026 has been released by BID Leamington to help residents and businesses plan for the year ahead in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. The programme includes a variety of festivals and trails designed to bring people into the town centre from March through to December 2026.
The season begins with The Great Easter Egg Trail, which will run from 28 March to 12 April 2026. Later in the year, the Leamington Food and Drink Festival returns to the Pump Room Gardens on 12 and 13 September 2026, followed by the Leamington Lantern Parade on 6 December 2026.
Local businesses can also prepare for Sunday Christmas markets starting on 4 October 2026, which are managed by CJ Events Warwickshire. To support shoppers, Warwick District Council has confirmed free off-street parking at its own car parks and the Royal Priors car park for the Christmas light switch-on on 15 November and Small Business Saturday on 5 December 2026.
This year’s activities take place as local leaders finalise the Parade Masterplan, a project that will eventually see the main street turned into a traffic-free zone. While this plan to change the town centre was settled in early 2026, actual construction work is not expected to begin until at least 2027.
