Kent Police are asking for help from the public after people entered private grounds and caused property damage in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, on February 24, 2026. Officers are encouraging residents and business owners to check their CCTV or doorbell cameras for any suspicious activity from that day.

The request for information was sent out through My Community Voice, which is a tool that lets the public share video evidence and information directly with the police. This appeal follows past instances of vandalism in the area, including a major attack in April 2025 where vandals targeted the Spa Valley Railway and damaged historic train carriages.

The police are currently focusing on tackling shoplifting in the Park ward area over the next three months. This part of the town was made a priority in early February 2026 after local people and businesses shared their concerns about rising theft and crime in the town centre.

Kent Police have previously seen an 18 per cent drop in anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in the area. This reduction was achieved in the year leading up to July 2024 through extra patrols and specific efforts to stop the use of catapults to cause damage.
