The Assembly Hall Theatre in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, has added a new sci-fi film music and holographic show to its programme for 28 March 2026. The production, called Supernova Spectaculars, features live music from famous movies alongside 3D visual effects.

The London Cinema Sinfonia will perform well-known tracks from films such as Star Wars, Interstellar, and Star Trek. These performances will be paired with 3D holographic projections designed by visual artist Gerred Blyth. The show is designed to be an immersive experience that offers a modern twist on traditional orchestral concerts.

There will be two performances on the day, with a matinee at 3:30 pm and an evening show at 7:30 pm. Visitors should be aware that the production uses flashing lights, strobe effects, and lasers throughout the performance. Tickets for the event are currently on sale, priced at £42 for adults and £21.75 for children under 16.

The 1,020-seat theatre is owned and managed by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council. Local officials hope the daytime and evening performances will bring more people into the town centre to visit nearby shops and cafes. The show arrives in Tunbridge Wells following its world premiere in Bedford in 2024.
