Residents in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, can expect a shift to warmer and sunnier weather this week as temperatures are set to rise across the area. According to the Met Office, the region will move away from recent cooler conditions starting on 16 March 2026, with the warmth peaking by the middle of the week.
The sunny trend is expected to begin in earnest from Tuesday 17 March 2026, following a cloudier start to the week. Daytime temperatures will climb steadily to reach 14 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, before hitting 15 degrees Celsius on both Wednesday and Thursday.
While the days will feel like spring has arrived, the nights are still expected to be quite chilly for local people. The weather forecast shows that temperatures could drop as low as 2 degrees Celsius by Wednesday night.
This period of settled weather is also expected to bring excellent visibility and very little chance of rain to the town. These conditions should provide ideal timing for residents planning to spend more time outdoors or working in their gardens during the day.
