The Slough Borough Council is providing free activities for families during the February half-term break, with library sessions beginning February 17, 2026, in Slough, Berkshire. The programme includes craft and reading sessions meant to give children fun things to do and support their learning during the school holidays, which run from February 16 to 20.

A special Story and Stretch session will take place at Langley Library on February 18, 2026, at 10:30am. This activity combines traditional storytelling with gentle movement to help primary school children stay active and focus on their wellbeing.

Other sessions are being held at libraries in Britwell, Cippenham, and The Curve throughout the week. These events are part of a plan to turn local library buildings into hubs that support health and education, following previous campaigns by residents to keep local branches open.

Families can find a full list of activity timings by checking the library events calendar online or at their local branch. According to government documents, the council is continuing to offer these free services to support residents during the cost-of-living crisis.
