The number of active flood alerts in Slough, Berkshire, has decreased from three to two as of February 19, 2026, following the removal of a notice for a local waterway. According to the Environment Agency, the five-day flood forecast for the town now shows a very low risk of flooding.

Officials removed the specific flood notice for the Colne Brook at Colnbrook, which also covered Horton and Wraysbury. This change follows a period of heavy rain from Storm Eowyn where roughly 88 per cent of the typical monthly rainfall for February fell in just the first 10 days of the month.

Two flood alerts remain active for the area, covering the Lower River Colne and Frays River, and the River Thames from Datchet to Shepperton Green. Detailed maps and updates for these zones are available through the official flood warning service.

Residents in riverside or low-lying areas are still encouraged to take simple precautions and check for updates regularly. Although property flooding is not currently expected, some water may still collect in low spots or on local footpaths.
