Slough Borough Council and the Safer Slough Partnership have launched a safety survey for residents and workers across Slough, Berkshire, to share their concerns about local crime. This feedback will help decide where police and council staff focus their work during the second half of 2026.

The survey asks for opinions on specific issues like drug dealing, antisocial behaviour, and support for victims of domestic abuse. People are also being asked if they want to see more mobile cameras used to monitor crime hotspots in their neighbourhoods.

Information gathered from the survey will guide how new resources are used, including 53 additional neighbourhood officers recently funded in the 2026/27 Thames Valley Police budget. The council hopes to use these results to update its long-term safety plan which focuses on reducing violent crime and exploitation.

Residents can fill out the survey online through the council’s Citizen Space portal. To encourage more people to take part, everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win high-street vouchers.
