Slough Town Football Club has announced Alan Julian as the new manager for the men’s first team, effective 4 May 2026. The appointment follows an extensive recruitment process led by Slough Town FC CEO Ashley Smith, which saw interest from more than 100 applicants.

Julian, 42, is a former goalkeeper who brings experience from a 22-year playing career that included 664 senior appearances. Before joining the club in Berkshire, he served as manager at Hampton & Richmond Borough until December 2025.

The transition comes after the departure of former manager Scott Davies, who left the club on 27 April 2026 to take a position at Aldershot Town. His move marked the end of an eight-year association with the club as both a player and manager.

The appointment concludes a 2025/26 campaign for the team that saw them finish 16th in the National League South with 54 points. The side finished the season on a positive note, securing a 3-2 victory against Dagenham & Redbridge on 25 April 2026.
