Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has released security camera images to identify a man following a break-in in the Thornhill area of Southampton, Hampshire. The incident took place at a home on Birch Wood during the early hours of Thursday, 26 February 2026.
Between 2:50 am and 3:10 am, someone forced their way into a garage at the property. The intruder took around £280 worth of tools, including a Bosch drill, a jigsaw, and a drone.
The thief also stole about £100 worth of meat from a freezer kept inside the garage. Police have now shared images of a man they would like to speak with as part of their investigation into the theft.
The individual is described as a white man with a slim build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a puffer jacket, a hooded top, jeans, gloves, and a balaclava covering his face.
