The TK Maxx Southampton Summer Sessions is returning to Guildhall Square this year, bringing a series of 10 concerts to the heart of the city from 12 June to 27 June 2026. Now in its third year, the event follows a successful debut in 2024 that drew more than 26,000 music fans to the Cultural Quarter, and returns with an expanded programme of live music.
The festival, which uses the flexible outdoor space at Guildhall Square, is accessible for local residents via various transport links including bus, train, coach, and ferry. The site serves as a major hub for the Southampton Summer Sessions, which is supported by Visit Southampton and managed by promoter Cuffe & Taylor.
This year’s lineup features a variety of notable performances. The Beach Boys are set to celebrate 60 years of their album Pet Sounds on 18 June, with special guests 10cc, followed by synth-pop pioneers OMD on 19 June. Paul Weller will bring his five-decade career to the stage on 20 June, and Billy Ocean, with very special guest Marti Pellow, will perform on 21 June.
Alternative rock fans can look forward to a double-bill featuring Garbage and Skunk Anansie on 23 June. Later in the month, Bowling for Soup and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls will co-headline on 26 June, while Deacon Blue, supported by Lightning Seeds, closes the festival on 27 June. Additionally, Blur bassist Alex James will present his Britpop Classical show, which features a full live orchestra.
