The Southampton Thai Festival will return to Hoglands Park in Southampton, Hampshire, on July 4 and July 5, 2026, to showcase traditional culture and street food. This family-friendly event is designed to bring more people into the city centre to support local independent traders and shops.

Visitors can expect a variety of authentic Thai street food stalls and a dedicated Thai beer garden. The weekend will also feature live performances, including traditional dancing and Muay Thai boxing demonstrations provided by athletes from local clubs.

Chef Chariya Khattiyot, who won MasterChef UK in 2023, is set to appear at the event to provide live cooking demonstrations. She will show attendees how to prepare authentic dishes from Northern Thailand using traditional techniques that residents can try at home.

The festival is supported by local partners, including Visit Southampton and the city’s business improvement district, GO Southampton. Organisers hope the event will help increase the number of people visiting the city centre by 20 per cent over the weekend.
