On 16 and 17 May 2026, Bluey and her sister Bingo will visit Adventure Island in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The sisters will appear at intervals throughout each day, giving families photo opportunities with the characters.

Entry to Adventure Island is free, but to meet Bluey and Bingo children must have an Adventure Island ride wristband. Adventure Island’s event listing says the performance area for these appearances is first-come, first-served, so visitors are advised to arrive early.

Adventure Island’s event page highlights the meet-and-greet and photo opportunities alongside the park’s regular family rides. Previous Bluey appearances at the park have been family-focused and attracted large crowds.

Bluey is managed commercially and licensed by BBC Studios, which oversees the brand’s global licensing and commercial partnerships.

Southend’s Local Plan promotes the Central Seafront as a major resort and notes the city’s ambition to attract visitors (the plan references more than 7 million day visitors annually). That policy context supports local tourism initiatives such as family character days on the seafront.

Similar Bluey appearances in previous years drew large family crowds and were reported as very popular in local coverage, and local tourism listings have promoted those events as well.
