The acclaimed dance group Diversity is bringing their latest production, Soul 2026, to the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend for a five-night run beginning this Wednesday, 6 May 2026.

The Essex-based dance troupe, which rose to national fame after winning Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, will perform at the venue through Sunday, 10 May 2026. This production is part of a larger tour covering 31 towns and cities across the UK and Ireland. The show, led by choreographer Ashley Banjo, explores themes surrounding artificial intelligence, the future, and what it means to be human in the digital age.

As the Cliffs Pavilion serves as the hometown venue for the group, high demand is expected for these performances. Venue management has announced that they will be implementing additional security checks during the residency. Theatre-goers are advised to arrive earlier than they usually would to ensure a comfortable entry and to allow enough time before the show begins.

For those attending, VIP Meet and Greet packages are available for most performances, though these are not offered for the show on Saturday evening. With a seating capacity of 1,630, the Cliffs Pavilion remains the largest purpose-built performing arts venue in Essex.
