Families in Southend-on-Sea have a new activity to enjoy during the upcoming school half-term break with the addition of a May Half-Term Party. The event will take place on Tuesday 26 May 2026 at the Eastwood Community Centre from 10:30am to 12:00pm.
Organised by the Aspirations Program (registered charity no. 1195424) to raise funds for their charity work, the party will feature entertainment from Lil’ Red’s Entertainers. Attendees can also look forward to stalls, a teddy tombola, lucky dips, and a bake sale.
Tickets for the party are priced at £6 per child, with siblings under 3 years old admitted for free. To ensure as many children as possible can take part, organisers have asked that families limit adult attendance to a maximum of two people per family. Those wishing to attend must pre-book their spots by emailing [email protected].
The party takes place during the school half-term week, which runs from 25 May to 29 May 2026. This period coincides with the Spring Bank Holiday on 25 May 2026. Families looking for additional activities can also visit the Springtime Festival at Southend Pier, which runs daily from 25 May to 2 June 2026. That festival offers games, rides, and live entertainment.
Residents may also note that the Southend RNLI Open Day remains on the calendar for the bank holiday on 4 May 2026. That event will be held at the RNLI station, providing an opportunity for the public to meet the crew and view lifeboats.
