The Lazydays Festival has reached a record milestone by selling 7,000 tickets for its 2026 event, which is set to take place in Priory Park, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, from 24 July to 26 July 2026. This early surge in sales marks the highest demand in the history of the event, with total attendance expected to grow to more than 12,000 people over the weekend.
Organisers say the festival is on track to sell out, meaning local residents and businesses should prepare for a very busy period. The event was started by three local friends to support independent breweries and food stalls, and it has quickly become a major summer attraction for the community.
Because no parking will be provided at the park, visitors are being encouraged to use public transport or a special Park and Ride service from London Southend Airport. This record interest is likely to cause extra traffic in the area and will make it harder to find last-minute hotel rooms or tickets as the summer dates approach.
