Families in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, can now book tickets for a major inflatable play event taking place at the end of the February half-term. The Big Bounce will return to the community on Saturday, February 21, 2026, offering a large indoor arena filled with more than a dozen inflatable obstacles to help keep children active.
The event is organised by Big Bounce Events and will be held in the sports hall at The Pingle Academy on Coronation Street. Organisers have planned a range of activities for the day, including high-energy features such as the Drop Zone and a Wipeout-style inflatable game.
Sessions are specifically designed for children aged between 2 and 13 (confirm age guidance on the booking page, as some listings use a “primary school ages” description) and typically last about 90 minutes, with the featured afternoon session starting at 1:30pm. Tickets are available via the Big Bounce Events booking page and (where listed) TicketSource; check the event listing for the direct booking link and current prices, which typically range from around £6.50 to £8.50 per child.
Because the event is held indoors, it will go ahead regardless of winter weather. The Pingle Academy sports hall is ground-floor accessible and provides on-site parking; organisers/reporting notes indicate there are dedicated disabled parking bays close to the sports entrance.
Parents are advised that all children must wear socks to use the equipment, with grip socks recommended for better safety. Families should aim to arrive about 15 minutes before their session starts to listen to the safety briefing before children begin playing.
