The Pokey Hole in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, has started selling tickets for its 2026 music season, with tickets having gone on sale in January/February 2026. Residents can now secure spots for various tribute acts performing at The Arena at Waterside, Conkers — a covered outdoor amphitheatre.

The music club, run by The Pokey Hole Limited (director Pete Farrugia), is moving early to help support the local music scene. By releasing the full list of dates now, organisers hope to give people plenty of time to plan for popular shows that often sell out quickly.

Events will take place at The Arena at Waterside, Conkers, where a wide range of tribute performances are planned across Conkers’ 2026 events calendar. Many Pokey Hole-curated tribute nights are scheduled from May through September 2026. Highlights of the programme include a Dire Straits tribute on 30 May 2026 and a Phil Collins and Lionel Richie tribute on 26 September 2026.

The Pokey Hole has a long history in the Midlands, starting as a small blues club before growing into a major provider of live entertainment in the area. The upcoming season aims to continue this tradition by focusing on high-quality live music for the local community.
