Powerboat racing returns to Torquay from 1 May to 3 May 2026, as the town hosts the opening round of this year’s Aqua Adrenaline Tour. Spectators can view the competition, which includes powerboats, jet skis, and ProCats racing on a course south of the harbour, from Haldon Pier.

The event is organised by the Offshore Circuit Racing Drivers Association and is now in its eleventh year. The tour combines various racing disciplines into a spectacle for the community to watch.

Local volunteers are already preparing for the weekend to ensure the races proceed safely. Members of Bristol Channel Jetskis have been readying safety boats and jet skis. These volunteers are essential for the event, as they monitor the course and assist with coordination throughout the racing days.

Torquay has a long history with maritime sports and remains a popular venue for national racing. Further information about this event and others in the area is available through the English Riviera website.
