Torquay United fought back twice to secure a 2-2 draw against Farnborough at Plainmoor in Torquay, Devon, on 3 March 2026. The match saw 77-year-old Neil Warnock return to the club as caretaker manager for his first game in charge since 1993.

Farnborough took the lead in the 11th minute, but the home team responded in the second half. Midfielder Sonny Blu Lo-Everton scored an equaliser in the 59th minute when his corner kick curled directly into the goal net.

The visiting side regained their lead in the 75th minute before substitute Kieran Wilson scored a second equaliser in the 88th minute. Wilson found the net after a long throw-in, ensuring the match ended level in front of 3,074 supporters.

Warnock was appointed to the position on 1 March 2026 following the departure of former manager Paul Wotton. The result helps the team end a run of losses as they begin a new period under their veteran manager.
