On Saturday 11 July 2026, Boogietown will return to Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, for its fifth anniversary edition at Apps Court Farm. Organisers say this will be the festival’s largest event to date, with the site expanded to five stages showcasing funk, soul and disco across live acts and DJs.

Performers announced for the day include Gloria Gaynor, Shalamar and Gabrielle, alongside acts such as Earth, Wind & Fire Experience by Al McKay, Soul II Soul, Maxi Priest and Heather Small. Organisers expect between 15,000 and 20,000 attendees on the day.

Residents should expect extra traffic on Hurst Road and local congestion during the event and temporary parking controls around the town on the festival weekend. The organisers and ticketing pages note shuttle bus services will operate to the site (shuttle tickets are listed via the festival’s ticketing page), with shuttle drop-off at Gate 2 (Hurst Road) to help reduce private car journeys; there are also onsite car parks for ticket holders.

The festival moved to a permanent July slot after a change in 2025 to take advantage of the height of the British summer, following its original September dates. Elmbridge Borough Council remains the licensing authority that monitors noise and event conditions at Apps Court Farm; reporting and local organisers say the festival also typically brings increased trade for Walton-on-Thames hospitality and retail businesses during the weekend.

Boogietown is a strictly 18+ event and enforces a no re-entry policy; the organisers’ information page states “Boogietown is strictly 18+. Nobody under 18 will be permitted” and “No re-entry. Once you leave the festival, you cannot return.” Apps Court Farm’s ability to host repeat large-scale events followed a planning inspector’s appeal decision in 2021 that overturned an earlier council refusal and established the site’s event-use status.
