The local business group Love Walton (the Walton-on-Thames Business Improvement District) is hosting a supervised children’s activity session at 12:15 pm during the upcoming February half-term in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey to provide families with a flexible childcare option.

Surrey County Council has scheduled the half-term break for Monday 16 February to Friday 20 February 2026. The sessions are aimed at primary-school children (typically aged about 4–10) and typically include short activities such as biscuit decorating, craft workshops or seasonal storytelling.

Tickets for Love Walton Kids Club sessions are usually released via Eventbrite and are often free or charged at a nominal commitment fee (commonly in the £2–£5 range). The midday timing is intended to encourage parents to shop or eat in the town centre while children are entertained in supervised community spaces such as The Walton Village or The Heart shopping centre.

Funding for the programme was confirmed after Walton BID’s business plan was approved for a second five-year term following a ballot of local businesses; Elmbridge Borough Council announced the result on 14 November 2025. Love Walton says these short sessions are a popular choice for parents who want a brief, lower-cost alternative to a full-day holiday club.
