The Walton Centre for the Community in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, will close for an Easter break starting Thursday 2 April 2026. According to Elmbridge Borough Council, the centre is set to reopen its doors on Thursday 9 April 2026.
While the Walton site is closed, residents can find help and support at the Weybridge Library Hub. Council staff will be contacting people who regularly use the community centres to help them plan their visits to the library hub during the break.
The Weybridge Library Hub will follow its normal opening hours during the week, but it will be closed on the public holidays of Friday 3 April and Monday 6 April 2026. This temporary move ensures that essential support services remain available to the community while the local centres are on holiday.
The council also confirmed that memberships for the Walton Centre for the Community will continue automatically from 1 April 2026. Local residents will not be charged for their membership from that date forward.
