A new outdoor holiday programme is launching in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, to help children stay active and away from digital devices during the February half-term. The Unplugged Club will run for four days from 16–19 February 2026 (10:00am–3:00pm) at the Tree Canopy Project site in the woodlands off Rydens Road.
Organised by Guided Wellbeing in collaboration with Walton Charity, the club is designed for children aged 7 to 14. Activities focus on building teamwork and confidence through practical tasks such as campfire cooking, woodland games and nature-themed crafts.
The programme comes as Surrey County Council (Surrey Education Services) sets the spring half-term for 16–20 February 2026. Organisers say the sessions provide a chance for young people to reconnect with nature while giving parents a childcare option that avoids indoor screen time.
Spaces for the club are limited, and families are encouraged to book early via Guided Wellbeing’s booking page. The sessions aim to teach children resilience and social skills in a relaxed, outdoor environment away from mobile phones and tablets.
