Walton & Hersham FC has announced a new partnership with Momentum Children’s Charity to support local families in Walton-on-Thames and across Surrey facing childhood cancer and other life‑challenging conditions. The collaboration will leverage the club’s large social media presence and matchday events to raise money for tailored family support such as therapy services, hospital projects and respite breaks.

The partnership was announced on 30 January 2026; early activities are scheduled to coincide with home fixtures. The first match listed after the announcement is the Southern League fixture against Bracknell Town at the Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub on 7 February 2026. Momentum will also be present at club matchdays with stalls and fundraising activities, and supporters can expect awareness work and opportunities to donate on the day.

Money raised will support families through Momentum’s hospital partnerships, including work at St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey and the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. Momentum is a charity that receives no statutory (government) funding and relies entirely on voluntary donations to provide its services.

The club — known for its young ownership team and for building a large online following (notably more than one million followers on TikTok and a significant presence across other channels) — plans to use its digital reach to spread the word about the charity’s work. The club has not publicly confirmed any donation from current kit sales in its partnership announcement.

The club’s youth arm, Walton & Hersham United (WAHUFC), which has over 1,000 playing members, is expected to be involved with mascot days and junior fundraising drives as part of the community activity. The club said the partnership is intended to make a real impact for people in the local community.
