Walton & Hersham FC has confirmed it identified a supporter involved in an incident during the match against Bracknell Town on 7 February 2026 at the Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. In a club statement published on 8 February 2026, the club said the individual has been identified and that a formal stadium ban will be imposed imminently.

The club also said a separate projectile was thrown onto the pitch during the same match and that it is investigating that incident before taking disciplinary action. The statement additionally said it had been made aware of allegations that Bracknell goalkeeper Zaki Oualah was subjected to racist abuse; the club said that matter is also under investigation.

The club described the behaviour as ‘entirely unacceptable’ and said it does not represent the values of Walton & Hersham FC. The statement said the club will be filming behind both goals going forward and that anyone seen to throw objects on the pitch or use discriminatory language will be banned.

These actions form part of the club’s efforts to keep the Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub safe as attendances at Walton & Hersham have risen in recent seasons. The Research Dossier accompanying the match report notes the club has previously confirmed the use of CCTV at the ground; the public statement itself does not detail the exact equipment used.

Walton & Hersham play in the Southern League Premier South (Step 3) of the National League System. The club said it will continue to investigate the incidents and take appropriate action against anyone found to have breached its conduct rules.
