Residents in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, can look forward to a break from the winter chill as temperatures are forecast to reach 14°C this coming weekend. This sudden warm spell is expected to arrive on Saturday, February 21, and continue through Sunday, February 22, 2026.
According to the Met Office, daytime highs will climb well above the usual February average of roughly 8°C. While the skies are expected to stay overcast, the “feels like” temperature will remain around 11°C throughout both days.
This milder weather follows a much colder start to the week where overnight temperatures in the KT12 area were expected to drop as low as -2°C on Thursday night. Forecasters say the change is caused by Atlantic weather systems bringing a south-westerly air flow across the southern parts of the country.
These conditions may provide a brief opportunity for locals to turn down their heating or spend time at outdoor spots like The Heart Shopping Centre or along the Thames Path. Many residents may also use the 14°C weather to begin early spring gardening and soil preparation.
