Residents in Stockton Heath have until 12 May 2026 to share their views on a new alcohol licence application for 51 Walton Road in Warrington. The application, submitted by Suganthini Janarthanan, seeks permission to sell alcohol for consumption off the premises between 07:00 and 23:00, seven days a week.

The site at 51 Walton Road is situated in a largely residential area, near local businesses such as the Stockton Heath Post Office. Under the proposal, no alcohol would be consumed on the premises.

The Warrington Borough Council licensing team is managing the application. Members of the public and official bodies can submit written comments, provided their feedback relates to the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance, or the protection of children from harm.

According to the council, if no relevant representations are received by the deadline, the local authority is required to grant the licence as requested.

Full details of the proposal can be found on the official council website. Those wishing to discuss the application or submit a formal representation can contact the licensing department at the Town Hall.
