The Warrington Chamber Plus is relaunching its annual business awards to celebrate 150 years of supporting companies in Warrington, Cheshire. The event, known as the Warrington Business Awards Plus, will take place at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on 15 October 2026.

The ceremony marks a double celebration as both the chamber and the Warrington Wolves rugby club reach their 150th year. The rugby club is a major part of the town’s business community and will host the event at their home stadium.

There are 10 different categories where local businesses and individuals can be recognised for their hard work. These include awards for the best Business of the Year, small businesses, and Entrepreneur of the Year.

Other awards will focus on people, such as the Business Man and Business Woman of the Year, and a category for the Young Person or Apprentice of the Year. There are also plans to recognise local charities, lifetime achievements, and the best employers in the area.

The chamber recently changed its name to Warrington Chamber Plus following a merger with the Warrington Business Exchange. Chief Executive Stephen Fitzsimons is leading the organisation as it brings back the awards to highlight the contributions of local entrepreneurs to the town economy.
