Cheshire Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to identify following two assaults outside a pub in Warrington, Cheshire. The incident happened at approximately 11:46 PM on Friday, 13 February 2026, on Buttermarket Street.
A doorman at Porters Ale House was attacked after he removed a man from the building. A woman who tried to step in and help the doorman was also assaulted before the suspect walked away from the area.
Investigating officer PC Graham Davies has urged anyone who recognises the man in the picture to contact the police to help with their enquiries. Officers shared the photograph on 27 February 2026 as they continue to look for the person responsible for the attacks.
Porters Ale House is a popular spot for live music in the town centre. The venue had recently returned to business after it was forced to close in October 2025 because it ran out of beer supplies.
