Warrington Town has confirmed two pre-season friendlies ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, with matches on Saturday 11 July 2026 and Saturday 18 July 2026 taking place in and around Warrington, Cheshire.
The Yellows travel to Widnes for their first friendly, meeting Widnes Town at the DCBL Stadium on Saturday 11 July 2026 with a 1pm kick-off. It will mark Widnes Town’s first-ever home fixture following their club reformation.
Warrington’s first home pre-season fixture comes a week later when Chester visit Cantilever Park, on Saturday 18 July 2026 with a 3pm kick-off. The club has confirmed the new stands at the Cantilever bridge end will be in use for the Chester match.
The new stands add 176 seats and include four dedicated disability viewing spaces, bringing the total seating capacity to 612 and taking the overall ground capacity to just above 3,100. The Cal.Delivery Stadium, located on Common Lane in Loushers Lane, currently has a capacity of 3,094.
Tickets for all home pre-season friendlies are priced at £10 for adults, £6 for concessions, and £2 for juniors. The club has also announced two summer signings so far: winger Jack Goodwin, 24, who arrives from Prescot Cables after making more than 150 appearances and being part of their promotion-winning side in 2023/24, and midfielder Lewis Earl, 23, who joins from Bootle after being ever-present last season and who previously played for Marine and Bury.
