A free four-week programme of family events will run every Saturday in August at M The Galleries, offering themed entertainment from 10am to 4pm each week. Starting on 2 August 2026, the series will feature animal encounters, story time sessions and giant roaming dinosaurs across consecutive Saturdays.

The centre has confirmed four distinct weekly themes. Animal Week kicks things off on 2 August with real-life bug encounters. Fantasy Week follows on 9 August, bringing magical walkabout characters and story sessions delivered in partnership with Washington Library. Puzzle Week on 16 August serves up giant board games and interactive building blocks, before Dinosaur Week closes the series on 23 August with huge dinosaur characters roaming the centre.

Visitors can find weekly updates on the M The Galleries Facebook and Instagram pages. The shopping centre, which offers more than 2,500 free parking spaces, hosts over 200 retail units and is located at Galleries Washington, NE38 7SD. M The Galleries was acquired by property collective M Core in 2022 and marked its 50th anniversary on 23 July 2024.
